Elkhart Conservation Club was established in 1929, first calling themselves the Elkhart Fish and Game Club. The Club was incorporated in 1934, and became the Elkhart Conservation Club.

We are a community-based organization focused on conservation . With the help of our tireless volunteers, we raise brown trout in our cold-water hatchery. We organize educational events, as well as fundraisers that support our goals. Recently, Elkhart Conservation Club had a restoration survey done on Cobus Creek, to identify areas of erosion. Currently, we are working on eliminating invasive species in our woodlands, and identifying rare wildflowers for preservation.

Woodland Whimsy Bazaar will be Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 9 AM to 2:30 PM. While visiting vendor booths, attendees will also be able to enjoy the Elkhart Conservation Club Sanctuary, meet some non-releasable wildlife ambassadors and their rehabilitators, and attend some informative wildlife educational programs.
